B\u00faz\u00e1s is an Associate Professor of Global Affairs at the Keough School, and a Klau Institute Faculty Fellow. He holds a PhD in political science from the Ohio State University. His expertise includes international relations, human rights, race and international politics, and \u00a0international law and norms. Adam is a double major in political science and global affairs with a minor in theology. Around campus, Adam serves as VP of Notre Dame Model United Nations, writes for the Observer, works as a Foundations of Theology mentor, is a Sorin Fellow, works as a co-lead on a project for the Student Policy Network, and lives in Fisher Hall. Theo is a senior from Columbus, Ohio double majoring in Philosophy and Global Affairs. He studied abroad in Jerusalem in the fall of 2023 as a Gilman Scholar and finished the semester virtually in London. At Notre Dame, he helped pioneer the University’s undergraduate global affairs magazine,\u00a0The Global Ambassador,\u00a0<\/i>and\u00a0contributed to an international sanctions request dossier with the Student Policy Network. Ethan<\/span> is a member of the Class of 2027 majoring in Global Affairs from Toronto, Canada. Theresa<\/span> is a student majoring in Strategic Management and Global Affairs. She is interested in foreign diplomacy, human rights, and public policy. At Notre Dame, Theresa<\/span> is involved in the Filipino American Student Organization (FASO) and works within Evergood Agency, a graduate-founded nonprofit-consulting startup. She is also excited to serve\u00a0as a Moreau Peer Leader during the 2024-2025 fall semester. Gabbie joined the Exoneration Justice Clinic as a legal assistant for the Program for the Defense of Mexican Nationals in U.S. Criminal Proceedings (PDM) in May 2024. Prior to working at the EJC, she graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 2024, where she studied Global Affairs with a concentration in Civil and Human Rights and Greek and Roman Civilization in the Classics department. During her time as a student, Gabbie also worked as a summer law clerk in 2022 and 2023 for the Civil Actions Bureau of the Cook County State\u2019s Attorney\u2019s Office in Chicago, contributing mainly to the Civil Rights\/Torts division.<\/p>

Nourhan is an Egyptian researcher and journalist who focuses on legal and judicial issues, currently a master of global affairs student at the Keough School. As a Bassem Sabry Democracy Fellow at the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy in Washington, DC, she conducted research on Egyptian judicial affairs. Previously, Nourhan worked for Egypt-based news outlets including Daily News Egypt, Aswat Masriya, and Mada Masr. She also worked as a researcher and archivist for the Law and Society Research Unit at the American University in Cairo (AUC). Nourhan holds a bachelor\u2019s degree (with honors) from AUC in political science and economics and a law degree from Cairo University.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Chaya is a Sociology and Global Affairs student interested in international criminal law and human rights advocacy. Around campus, she serves as President of Notre Dame\u2019s QuestBridge chapter and is also on the board for the Black Student Association and Shades of Ebony. Last Fall, Chaya spent a semester in Greece where she interned with an international lawyer and researched how international law can be applied to the Tigray War and genocide in East Africa. Abby Lamm is a senior at the University of Notre Dame double majoring in Political Science\u00a0and Global Affairs (with a Concentration in Civil and Human Rights) and double minoring in\u00a0<\/span>Business Economics and Italian. Abby has been involved in the International Race and Rights\u00a0<\/span>Lab as a Research Assistant on its \u201cRace, Rights, and Great Power Politics\u201d project. Thomas is a political science student interested in public policy, international peace, and human rights advocacy. As a project director with the Notre Dame Student Policy Network, Thomas leads a team of undergraduates in research and advocacy of fair housing legislation in Indiana. Last Fall, he spent a semester in Washington D.C., where he worked with a top congressional lobbying firm on housing, immigration, and labor issues.
